My story — the short, honest version

I'm Peter Max Hall, an online entrepreneur. This page is where I tell you how I got here — not the highlight reel, the real version.

Where I started

I started out as a regional operations manager, then went self-employed as a telecoms contractor — working for the government and some major companies. It paid well, but it meant long hours and long stretches away from home, time I wasn't getting back with my family. When my mum was diagnosed with dementia, I made the decision to step away from that work and become her full-time carer. That's when I started taking the online business world seriously — not as a side hustle, but as a way to build something that didn't require me to trade my time for money, or be away from the people who needed me.

What I struggled with

Like most people starting out, I spent thousands on courses trying to find the "right" method — dropshipping, physical products, digital products, every guru with a different answer and a different story. It was hard to know who to trust. Even once I picked a direction, getting everything to actually work together — an autoresponder here, a page builder there, tracking tools bolted on somewhere else — was its own nightmare. It ate up hours I didn't have, all while trying to be there for my mum.

What changed

The turning point came when a mentor told me I needed my own home on the internet — instead of building on top of someone else's product or platform, everything should stem from me. That one shift changed how I thought about the whole thing: I wanted to control my own destiny, not depend on whatever I happened to be promoting that month. ESTAGE was the platform that actually made that possible — one place I owned, that everything else could run through.

Why I help others now

I know how confusing and daunting it is to try to figure this out alone — I wish I'd had someone I could trust to guide me through it. I was brought up to help others when I can, and I believe in paying that forward. That's what this site and this community are for: a safe space where people can turn their idea into something real, without the guesswork and expensive detours I went through.
