I'm Peter — a former telecoms engineer and operations manager who spent nearly ten years as a full-time carer. Now I'm building my own business online, and I help people with real-life skills and experience do the same: one place you own, without the hype, the gadgets or the expensive detours.
Who I am
Starting again — with forty years of experience behind me
I started fixing TVs at 13, spent years as a BT technician and telecoms engineer, and went on to manage regional teams as an operations manager. Then my mum was diagnosed with dementia, and I spent nearly ten years as her full-time carer. When that chapter closed, I had to work out what came next — like a lot of people who've been made redundant, stepped away to care for someone, or simply want more control over their working life.
I'm not a guru and I don't sell overnight results. I've wasted money on courses and schemes that promised the world, so I only share what's genuinely working for me — mistakes included. Fair questions, straight answers
Is the community free to join?
Yes — joining the community and the email list is completely free. If I ever offer something paid, it will be clearly labeled and entirely optional.
What do I actually get when I join?
Regular emails with practical lessons on building an online business, access to the community discussions, and first access to any resources or guides I put together. No fluff, no daily inbox flooding.
Do I need to already have a business?
No. Lots of people start at the idea stage. If you’re serious about building something online — even if you haven’t started yet — you’ll fit right in.
Am I too old, or not “techy” enough, to do this?
No. I’m in my sixties and I started out fixing TVs, not building websites. Everything I share is explained in plain English, step by step, and nobody in the community will make you feel silly for asking.
Do I have to use ESTAGE to be part of this?
